Summary of Career Accomplishments:
Osvaldo Bustos became a Senior Partner in Martin, Blanck & Associates in 1999. While on active duty in the US Army, he served in a large variety of medical, managerial, military, leadership, teaching and consulting positions both in the US and abroad. These included serving as Special Assistant for International Affairs to the Surgeon General of the US Army, and Chief of Staff to the Department of Defense's Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs.  After 30 years of service as a military physician, Dr. Bustos retired from the US Army in 1998 with the rank of Colonel.

Throughout his medical career and following retirement, Dr. Bustos has been on the teaching faculty of Georgetown University School of Medicine; the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences; The George Washington University School of Medicine; Stanford University School of Medicine; and Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He also has served as a visiting professor, guest speaker and consultant at multiple medical, military and civilian institutions across North, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia.

Additional Qualifications:
Dr. Bustos is an active member of multiple medical and managerial organizations and has received numerous medical, military and civilian awards throughout his career.  He is both a medical book contributor and reviewer.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Bustos received a Bachelor of Science from Buenos Aires National University and a Doctor of Medicine from its affiliated School of Medicine. He emigrated from Argentina to the US in 1966, became a US citizen and is a Vietnam Veteran. He is residency trained and board certified in family medicine, as well as being a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He also holds certifications in medical quality assurance, total quality management and business process reengineering.
